Quality | After attaining distinction at grade 8 level, I was awarded the Diploma of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in piano performance in the summer of 2004. I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first class honours degree in mathematics and music in 2007 for which I specialised in performance, achieving first class marks for both classical and jazz performances in my final year. I am currently studying as a research student in pure mathematics, again at the University of Birmingham. I am available to perform in and around the Warwickshire area. My experience includes a great number of performances at private parties, at weddings, in hotels, in both large and small-scale concerts and in a significant number of music theatre productions, in which I have a particular interest. My solo repertoire is normally easy-listening jazz pieces, largely from the first half of the twentieth century (for example, the likes of Jerome Kern and Jimmy Van Heusen). I possess a professional grade electronic stage piano (Yamaha P-250), should your venue not be equipped with a suitable instrument, which is available at additional charge.
